how does this all work?

how much money can i make?

the amount of money a member can earn depends on how many referrals they make. the current statistic for earnings without referrals is located on our statistics page. however, members can earn more by logging in more times each day. since we add new advertisements constantly, more time on the site can mean more money for members.

when do you pay?

web-earners.com pays 30 days after the end of every month for accounts with at least $0.01. as soon as we receive payment for a month of surfing, we send our members their share of the money. this can delay payments 30 days or more as we wait for the funds to arrive. our months run from midnight of the first day of the month to midnight of the first day of the next month. so, if you earn a total of $0.01 from march first to april first, you will receive that $0.01 on or after may first. we feel this method of payment is the most fair to the members that have worked hard to earn money here. other companies choose to hold your money for months so they can invest it or use it to pay their expenses and then they go out of business and don't pay their users at all. not so at web-earners.com.

can i use it on aol/netscape/internet explorer/webtv?

web-earners.com works on most combinations of popular operating systems and ISPs. as long as you can browse the web you can probably use web-earners.com. the only stipulations are the abilities to display web pages with frames, accept cookies, and to execute javascript, but most browsers these days have that ability. examples of browsers that may not have these abilities include webtv, early versions of aol's browser, early versions of netscape and early versions of internet explorer. if you sign up for web-earners.com and you find your browser does not work, contact support and we'll suggest a new browser for you.

how do i get that $5 you promised for signing up at paypal?

the $5 signup bonus is not available for international users. for U.S. users, paypal will automatically pay your $5 when you complete five simple steps (check with paypal for the official method). our aim at web-earners.com is not to steal your private information. by requiring you to fill out the entire sign up form, we can fight against multiple accounts and report spammers and cheaters to the proper authorities. also, if you have forgotten your password, we may require you to send us all your information exactly as you did when you signed up in order to retrieve your password. it is important to put in correct information so that if you do forget your password you can retrieve it. it is also important for us to have accurate records for tax purposes.

why are you deactivating members if they did not click on one link in a month?

in order to give everyone a fair chance, we have decided to deactivate the members that use our service the least. currently, we feel that if a user does not visit our site and click on one link at least once a month, they are not active members of our community. since we have a limit on membership, we feel it fair to give someone else a chance to earn money with us. to do this we must deactivate the inactive member.

at web-earners.com our goal is to try to please everyone. advertisers have a budget that they must stick to. users need links to click on. to compromise, we limit our membership so that advertisers will not have to pay as much per month. this encourages advertisers to stay with our site longer, giving our users more chances to click on links. in the end, we hope it benefits everyone.

how does the referral system work?

i'm international and i can't get my money from paypal, what now?

paypal has made a few policy changes recently that make it very difficult for international members to withdraw money from their paypal accounts. the official word as of april 23, 2001 is this: paypal has stopped allowing withdrawals to credit cards and requires a French, German, American or British bank account for international users to withdraw their earnings. the only option open to our international users that don't have one of these bank accounts is to deny our payments. then when paypal allows withdrawals to your local bank account, send an email to support and we'll send you any payments we owe you. be sure to check with paypal often for the official word.

advertiser accounts are kept separate from member accounts for two reasons. first of all, so we can tell them apart. secondly, so members can have both types of accounts and transfer earnings from their surfing account to their advertising account. if you sign up for an advertising account, you can even use the same log in and password as you did for your surfing account.

how do i change my advertised link?

just use the link on the advertiser log in page to change anything about your link. this can be done at any time. you can change your link description, title, or category instantly. unfortunately, we cannot allow advertisers to instantly change their actual link. the reason for this is because we must approve the links for content first. please allow 24 hours for the approval process to occur.

how does the advertiser referral program work?

the advertiser referral program works a lot like the member referral program. members post the advertiser referral link on their site. when an advertiser clicks on that link and purchases advertising with us, the referring member earns 5% of that sale. this can be anywhere from $0.05 to $25 per sale. the referrer is credited each time the advertiser purchases more clicks.

how much money can i make from referring advertisers?

the amount of money you make by referring advertisers depends on how many advertisers you refer, of course. you make 5% off of each advertisement sale. you also earn for each click you make on the advertisers site, as you normally would. the advertiser referral program is a good way to boost your earnings while supporting the web-earners.com community.

how do i know if my link will be approved?

by using the example link at the bottom of the advertiser log in page, you can test your link. click this link and your advertisement will pop up in our frame environment. if your link breaks our frames, it will not pass the test. your link must pass this test to be accepted but will not necessarily be accepted if it does pass the test. your link must also have acceptable content, as decided by our staff.

yes. to do so, you must create separate accounts for each link. this way we can keep all the information for each link separate. if you have any further questions, please contact advertiser support.

how does the pay-per-sign-up system work?

here's the breakdown of how the system works. you use our link to get to a sign up form. after you sign up and fulfill any requirements, we receive credit for your sign up. within about a day after we receive notice of the credit, we credit your account.

a payment error usually occurs when you get to the last stage of paying for your clicks and do not click the paypal logo. the problem is usually fixed within 24 hours. contact support if you need the problem fixed faster or if it has not been fixed within 24 hours of you first noticing the problem.

approval pending status occurs when you first sign up or when you change your link. new accounts and links are usually approved/denied within 24 hours. contact support if you have not been approved within 24 hours of a link change or new sign up.
